GALENA G 5081 (S/P) - Born January 17, 2000
Hermosa 2377 (S/P) x Entendido XXIII 3001 (S)Galena G, a grey, is one of Coastal Andalusians foundation mares. She was so stunning when I first saw her that I decided to deviate from our goal to raise Bay Blacks. She is out of our exquisite mare, Hermosa, (Botadora IV 1639 (S) x Despierto 1352 (S/P), and is expecting an April 2008 foal out of CHULO H 7902 (S/P), 2006 IALHA National Champion PSP 2 and under. A black PSP colt, he is UC Davis dna verified: E EEaa.
Currently, Galena G has a March 2007, filly at her side, which is sold (Congratulations Eva Jones and Family). Galena G has been bred back to Gitano MOR's black son, Chulo, for a March 2008 foal which will be available for sale. Her filly, Gialina, is out of GITANO MOR 5595 (S). Gitano MOR was the IALHA 2004 National Champion Pure Spanish Junior Stallion and 2004 IALHA National Champion Country Pleasure Saddle Seat Junior Horse. He took the IALHA 2005 Reserve National Champion Junior PRE Stallion and the 2005 National Champion Country Pleasure Saddle Seat Junior Horse. After she delivers her foal in April, Galena G will be bred to our Foundation Stallion, NINO JUGADOR, for a 2009 late spring foal. We believe this pairing will be remarkable and exquisite. This foal is for sale in utero for $9,000. and will be $12,500. after birth.

KARA G 8061 (S/P) - Born February 21, 2004
Hermosa 2377 (S/P) x Teodoro 1393 (S)Just now being started under saddle, this mare exhibits her sire’s elegant head and soft eyes. Tall, with very refined features, she is generous in personality and intelligence. With the passing of TEODORO in 2006, we will be retaining her for our breeding program.
Kara G will be bred next year, 2009, to our black stallion, Tornado BV. They both exhibit the classical head of the Andalusian. Wide set eyes with the head tapering down and narrowing at the nose. She is filling out quite beautifully and when she is out in pasture with her mother, Hermosa, it is sometimes hard to distinguish who is who.

DAIFA H 4650 (S/P) - Born April 24, 1999
Dehesa 1731 (S/P) x Ascension 2356 (S)Daifa H is one of Coastal Andalusians foundation mares. In 2003, she was Reserve National Champion - Country Pleasure Saddle Seat - Junior Horse at the IALHA National Show. In 2002 at the Fall Festival in Houston, Texas, Daifa H won the Mare Class and Gold Medal Movement Award. Also, in 2002, she was Top 5 Country Pleasure Saddle Seat, PSP Junior Mare Winner and IALHA National Futurity Winner. She is the daughter of Ascension, who passed away early in his astounding career. With great pleasure, Coastal Andalusians announces the breeding of this fine mare, who herself took best movement awards in 2002, to Mediterraneo V in the Spring of 2008. Kibla TG 2890 (S/P) x Teodoro 1393 (S)Feminista H is out of the majestic mare Kibla TG, who was IALHA National Champion Junior Filly, and Teodoro, whose career as a Show Ring Success, ended too early in 2006, with his passing. Feminista H’s quiet beauty and bold movement is a testimonial to these two horses. Feminista H gave us Iluminista, a bay black filly in 2006, refer to our sales page, and a stunning colt in 2007, CORAZON

CARETA H - Born April 28, 1998
Honesta D 2432(S/P) x Ascension 2356(S)Careta, an immense 16.3 hand dappled grey, was purchased by Coastal Andalusians in June 2007. She is out of Ascension 2356 (S), Terri Meador's (Herradura Andalusians) stunning black stallion who died so young. She is half sister to Daifa H 4650 (S/P) who is also on our 'Mare Page' and part of our breeding program. Careta is bred to Terri Meador's black 3 year old stallion, Chulo H 7902 (S/P) 2006 IALHA National Champion PSP 2 and under. Dna verified through UC Davis E EEaa. We hope this breeding will bring to Coastal Andalusians our first black foal in February of 2008.
She will be bred this year to our stallion, NINO JUGADOR for a late spring 2009 foal. We feel this match will refine her charecteristics and bring to the foal a dynamic conformation for any type of desired sport horse. Foal will be for sale at the price of $10,000. In utero for $8,000.
Careta delivered a beautiful dark filly on January 31st of this year. The filly, who we named Carisma, will be dna tested for the black gene by UC Davis. If she is confirmed black we will be retaining her for our breeding program. If not, she will be for sale for $12,000.
